Block22 is located at 4th and Broadway and consists of four historic buildings that were completely renovated to provide a unique living experience for upperclassmen at Pittsburg State University. Cost to live in Block22 ranges from $550 - $650 per month, depending on apartment style, location and size. Rates include all utilities.

Limited Rental Rate Discounts Available to Qualifying Students
The Block 22 project includes a focus on providing affordable housing options to students. Students who qualify may receive a $50 discount per month off of published room rental price during the specific lease year period for which the discount was awarded. Consideration for award will be based on responses to initial qualifying questions in the on-line housing contract application process and subsequent verification of income through submission of federal tax return transcript.
Each space is unique with lots of historic character and special features, such as murphy and loft beds, spiral staircases, built-in desks and shelves, fireplace mantles, etc. Each apartment is individualized. Apartments will be similar but not exactly the same.
Eligibility for occupancy in Block22 is contingent upon the student being a full-time PSU student for each semester (fall/spring) living in the apartment. A full-time student is defined as those students enrolled in ten or more hours (seven for Graduate students) and paying full tuition and fees.
To be eligible to live in Block22 a student must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Contracting will be begin online in November for new PSU students. Returning students will select their apartments in February.
Block22 contracts will be 12 month contracts (August - July). Expected to move-in on August 4, 2019 and contracts will run until July 25, 2020. Contracting will be offered to those with existing residence hall contracts first and then will be open to all eligible students.
